PREDAZZO, Italy — Norway’s Anna Odine Strøm took her second gold in ski jumping in the women’s large hill on Sunday evening, making history as the first woman to win two individual events in the sport in the same Olympics.This year is the first Games that women have competed in the large hill discipline, with Slovenia’s Nika Prevc the heavy favourite entering the competition.Just as she did in last Saturday’s normal hill, however, Odine Strøm upset the odds with two composed jumps, scoring extremely highly with the judges on both occasions.She trailed teammate Eirin Maria Kvandal by just four points after the first round of jumps, but leapt 132.0 metres in the second round to score a mammoth 148.1 points, comfortably the highest of the competition.
