Temperatures have heated up (but not too much.. at least typically) and our outdoor spaces are exploding with lots of color! Take advantage of this time of year by heading outside with the kids for a rainbow scavenger hunt.\nWe\u2019ve gone ahead and pulled together a printable scavenger hunt and one that works better on your phone. Let\u2019s start finding those brilliant purples, grass greens, bright oranges, and more!\n1. Print out your scavenger hunt card or download one that's sized for your phone. If you printed off a card, be sure to bring crayons or colored pencils to decorate the card.\n2. Head out to a local park, go for a walk in the neighborhood, or go further afield to somewhere like Indian Ford Meadow Preserve in Sisters.\n3. Start looking for all the colors of the rainbow! Can you spot a yellow flower? Perhaps you can find some red on a bird? What about green leaves or the blue sky?\n4. Once you find one of the colors of the rainbow, draw and color what you see. If you\u2019re on a phone, go ahead and write it in (or bonus points: just keep track of it in your head!). Let your kids take photos of the rainbow colors they spot.\n5. See how many colors you can find on your outing! Did you get a full rainbow? Or maybe just part of one?
